My iguana was so green, He was like a best friend to me, He never ever bite me or whiped me with his tail, But it was just lastnight when he took a dive, I fed him green lettece but i didnt cut it up small enough, So he ended up to choke choke choke, I tryed to revive the lil guy, But there in my hand he did die, I almost cryed that lastnight it was friday september 29th, It was so hard for me to bury him, I almost had a lil funeral for him, He just meant so much to me! "what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger" |

Sorry that happened to you guy. Those kind of things really do suck big time. I hope your life is filled with joy and you find another friend, not to replace HIM, but to replace that single void within your soul. Good poem.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

That was so sad...I am sorry at the loss of your pet...I know that when my dog died it really affected me...And for some reason they say that when a pet dies it affects you more...I dont know why...Maybe because its like a companion...But anyways good way to show your feelings and a beautiful tribute to your pet!!! Aww this is so sweet. What a wonderful way to say goodbye to your friend. I would cry FOREVER if I lost my kittie cat! >^..^< Just remember that your friend will always be with you, in your mind, in your heart, and in spirit. Keep yer chin up! |

It always hurts to lose a pet. Animals are the best friends you can ever have. They understand when no one else can. They are there when all your human friends betray you. They never gossip about you, and they are the best listeners. Losing a pet is just as painful as losing a human friend. I hope that writing this helped your pain. I extend my sympathy to you. False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the difference. |

one of my dogs died..two cats and many mice that died as the result of my cats living...this was a really nice poem...when i was in Israel i saw a chameleon on the road bright bright bright green... I am buried up to my neck in Contradictionary flies I take pride as the kind of illiterature I'm very ape and very nice -Kurt Cobain |

I am sorry to hear about you losing your pet. Beautiful tribute to him though. I think sometimes we take losing a pet harder because it is just easier to get close to them. You don't really have to worry about them betraying you, as you do with people. I know I cried more when two of my dogs died than I did when my great-grandma died. Seems kinda bad, but thats just how it is. Again, sorry about your loss. Hope you feel better soon -Stephanie |

i cant believe how much this has been reply'd to and i thank all of you very much this was a very hard lost and it was hard to deal with it but hey i have gotten a new iguana but this one will never live up to the standards the old one did thanks guys. |

Hey, this is so sad. I'm sorry you lost him!!  I know how that goes though, I've had lots of cats, one that was 19 years old before she had a stroke. Well, great poem, keep it up Bel |
