Not for You: I feel the cool breeze coming from your mouth. When you speak to me I shiver. I'm concintrating because I can't deliver. I can't deliver my love because you won't let me. I guess I wasn't the one for you. You were my swan so beautiful and true. Standing behind a tree, let it shade you from me. My loss is great but I'll make it anyway. I'll walk along the road less traveled by. Rabid dogs always end up finding me, But my mind was torn up to begin with. I'm a boat lost in an everlasting sea. Just disappearing slowly to myself. Thoughts are missing and hardly ever found. My love was great, my love was true, But I guess I just wasn't the one for you.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

a couple of poems to deal with love in this 5th batch man...troubled year?...well this was beautiful and full of great imagery...and about your 6th batch...A LOT OF WRITING YOU WERE DOING! Great poem...unfortuneately it tends to happen...we meet someone and our love for them is so strong and so pure that we feel we'll be together forever and then something happens and you find that the other person either doesn't feel the same way or doesn't feel as strongly as you do. However, there is a bright side to this ever darkening cloud...the sun WILL shine through and you WILL meet someone that feels EXACTLY the same as you...the trick is...to realize they're the one  Shell. **I didn't loose my mind it was mine to give away** ~Robbie Williams~ |
