-Look Through My Eyes-

I have done this to others,
now it is happening to me.
Now I know just how they felt,
it was just too hard to see.

To look through someone else's eyes,
is an interesting view.
Maybe you should try it now--
That is all I ask of you.

My sorrow and guilt are overwhelming,
I have never felt this way.
I could have began to love you,
but now you may not stay.

Please tell me how you feel,
as you look through my eyes.
I trust what you will see,
is a sight you will dispise.

Another great one Pixie    Isn't it interesting sometimes to learn other people's points of view?  I like the poem  < !signature-->

This is good.  Accepting ones mistakes is not the easiest thing to do.  Actually, for some poeple, it's realy very hard.  It shows what kind of person you are though, being able to accept your mistakes.  keep it up

What a wonderful poem on the lessons of "putting yourself in 'my' shoes" I thought that was very well put! Your thoughts were worded well and your point came across well. Siskel and Jess Girl give you two thumbs up!
