What’s wrong with me?
I just lost about everything
Why is it that whenever I care
About someone I get screwed over?
And the more I care,
The worse I get hurt.
What have I done wrong
To deserve all the pain
And rejection?
Ah, rejection, they either hate the way I talk
Or hate the way I act.
Why must they lie to me,
And tell me they love me.
They all have,
And then they left me
Because someone better came along.
Someone prettier, sexier, or even smarter.
Why can’t I find someone
That will love me for me?

If you love someone dont put their name in a heart,
put their name in a circle, because a heart can be broken
but a circle is continious.

Tamma~~~Girl do I know what you mean with this part:

And the more I care,
The worse I get hurt.

I know exactly what you are saying...Just hang in there...And keep smiling...Cuz one day you are gonna find the guy that you want...

I really like this poem!  You did a wonderful job.  Just remember to keep your chin up and not care about what others think.  Jesus loves you and that is all that matters, babe!
God Bless and Keep Smiling

There's a lot of sadness and expression in this Tamma ... you written this well!  Sometimes it's hard to see beyond some of the pain when it is fresh, and although it sounds cliche, keep being yourself ... and soon you will find someone with the qualities who will  see into your soul and know what a truly special person you are throughout. Keep up the great writing Tamma!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Tamma --- sorry to say this but that is part of life.  Finding the right person is hard and in the way we all get hurt.  I guess the problem is for all of us to accept that.  I love your poem

Hunnie i think we have all been through something liek this ayt one point or another.  especially  us teen girls out here. it can be very damaging.  but NEVER EVER think for one SECOND that there is anyone better then you! i love guys and all but NO guy is worth making yourself feel like you are worthless and insignificant!  i hope you are able to get past that and you will someday find the right guy for you

I know JUST how you feel. Every time I find a guy I really like, I get hurt worse than before. Nothing ever seems to work out right. BUT, you just gotta try to keep this in mind: If you wanted so badly to be with the wrong guy, just IMAGINE how amazing it will feel when the RIGHT guy comes along.
Best wishes,

"Why can’t I find someone
That will love me for me?"

Some times that can be so hard to do, and people spend their whole lives pretending to be something they're not just so people will like them, then they are never a true friend at all. Sorry for rambling, but I really liked that poem, keep writng!

unfortuneately it does seem like that doesn't...that the more we let people in and more we learn to trust and love people, the more they end up hurting us...it is something that I will never understand and something that I will never be able to be happy about, but on the other hand, there is nothing I can do about it.
So I, just as everyone else, will just have to continue to let people in with the vain hope that one day, I will meet someone who won't hurt me and won't leave me and the love they share with me will out weigh all the pain I've suffered.

Don't loose hope...the sun is just around the corner.

First of all, I'd like to thank you all for your replies, I do really like this poem   altho I dont particularly like the situation behind it, and when I let my SO read it, he got really upset when I asked "Whats wrong with me?" Well I hope this lasts, Cause I wont be able to handle another heartbreak like this one
