Somewhere, between here and there

Conversations with my Coffee Maker

Yes, there be a thin line,
Between the sane and the borderline,
But can you get over it in time?
Or figure, the reason or rhyme,
Before you blow you mind,
Hurry up, you’re wasting time,
Slow down, or your miss the signs,
Speed up, you’re falling behind,

Everything is rushing through your mind,
The friction of thought is bruising,
You’re so sure you’re losing your mind,
But did you ever have one, at any time?

A good question,
But I hear Congress is still in session,
Discussing the immediate direction,
We humans should take,
To fight the invading infection,
Of sentient gingerbread confections,

I find so much interesting conversations with my coffee maker,
No longer I think it a brainless brew creator,
Maybe it’s God, and I am but an actor,
In a great sitcom of endless censorship,
A great slavery of boundless morphine trips,
But can you feel the crack of the bullwhip?

If you think I’m insane,
Your turning down the right lane,
Or was it the left. No right here in plain,
Sight, everybody I hope sleeps tight,
Just remember wrong from right,
And to not fear all those things,
That go bump in the night…

How long have you been talking to your coffee maker??? I talk to the walls sometimes. Ya know what??? I'm a bad girl.   I fell asleep in detention yesterday. But I shouldnta been there in the first place. Keep up the insanity, somebody needs to.

Don't wander throught this glassy surface, expecting to find more than me, because what I am without a purpose, but a lone mirage to see.
