Upon the Days End

Upon the days end,
When darkness falls across the land.

My love, all alone in this night,
Brings me shivers of fright.
As I look upon you with my sight,
Wonders fill my mind in the night.

My love, upon starry night,
Upon heavens twilight,
I wish upon my shining star,
To bring me dreams of thee.

Upon day and night,
Along with God’s might,
I vision that you look beyond who you see,
And vision what I can be,
With your gifted touch,
Upon my heart.

My mind is gone,
While alone with no soul,
Should one go on so alone.
