*i do all my best lyrical thinking where i'm sure everyone does...in the shower. this usually poses the problem of me haveing to run out and write lyrics down while i'm sopping wet. well i thought up this little verse in the shower about a week ago, and i finally got my computer working again, so i hope you dig it. it's a little silly =) enjoy*

*speaking of rhymes*

i think the world would be better
if we all spoke in rhyme.
we'd all look creative and
we'd save a lot of time.
there would be less rhetoric
and we'd be less redundant.
we might start liking schooland
even start liking Monday.
y'know what i'm sayin'?
i ain't playin'...
i think it'd be good
to use rhymes and lines to define
where we stood.
and where we stand
on whatever issue might be at hand.

and imagine how romantic you'd be
when you rhyme to your girl that she's sweet as honey,
and tell her how you wanna be
with her, and just her.
and how her hair has that luster.
and the way her smile gleams
could give you wet dreams.
and when the frieght train of flow
runs out of power,
remind your girl that your
actions speak louder.

i think a rhyming world would be a nice habitat.
bust a mad rap while shootin' craps out back.
and i hail from Vegas; y'all know
i'm not bad at that.
i don't care how good you flow,
you can't get your cash back.
Did you ever hear of the "mad rapper", Pat?
he rhymed out his mind
and he stabbed his cat.
then he ripped off the whiskers;
but they say he could rap like nobody's business.
he did all his homework and flunked all the quizzes.
he even wrote in flow
and they called him thee "shiznit".

and the world could learn from a guy like that.
except the part 'bout givin' his cat the ax.
we should put some rhyme in our speech
and give our lives a beat.
and speakin' of speeches,
i think no one would mind
passing their tim watching Al Gore rhyme.
that'd be a rap i'd like to hear.
give the budget a flow while keepin' it clear.

and i know this is all just a nice illusion,
but i have come to this conclusion:
if we could rhyme our rhetorics and use 'em.
we'd have a beautiful language
as result of this fusion.

Everyone's got their demons.
We all got somethin' to atone for.

I love the idea of a ryhming world. There's actually this german guy I know who's in his 70's and i've known him for 3years now. Ever since our first conversation together we ONLY talk in ryhme. Isn't that odd? It's like.....we'd be talking other people, then talk to one another in ryhme and then keep talkin to other people but while talkin in ryhme with one another. ODddddddd....anyway good joB!

on those living in the land of the shadow of death
a light has dawned.

I am reminded of the immortal words of Socrates who said, "I drank what?"
