I'm just like that old doll in the corner always have been in your life but put away to the side now I'm just something old now I'll never be your favourite doll again I'm just old news I've been replaced by newer dolls now who are your new best friends and are much more important than me now I'm just a tatterned doll in the corner of your room thats been through all the rough times in your life and listened everytime you cried I was never mean to you I was always a good friend to you so why am I not good enough for you now? I feel like I've been thrown in a dusty closet never to be found again and it breaks my heart in two Why is it that the best things in your life always leave me I feel so alone and scared I wish I could go back to tomorrow when we were close again and experience all the fun we had It's been months now since we've spent time together it's been months now since we've had a long conversation Who do things have to change between us I don't want to deal with another seperation from someone that I love as a sister Maybe I should give up on best friends now because they always leave me in the dark and replace me with new friends I allways thought that friends were forever but you've proved me wrong now because now there is no future with our friendship I wish you all the best in your futer without me and maybe the best will turn out for us but I know it will never happen I had my time in the light with you but my light has burnt out now and it is being shined on others I leave you now with only a few words you were always my best friend and sister and I will miss you so much Life isn't about holding grudges or starting fights life is meant to be enjoyed |

It always hurts when loved ones move on to another stage of their lives, and seem to leave you behind. You sister will always love you, and I'm sure she doesn't mean to make you feel this way, but she's changed. You've changed, also. Nothing can stay the same, but you can always share your love. False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the diffrence. |

This was sad, i hope it all turns out for the best.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Thanks guys for your replies. The person in this poem isn't actually my real sister, I don't even have a sister, but she is like a sister to me, and it's hard to let go of someone who is like that for me when I've never had that kind of relationship in my life before. But I'm hopeing that it will work out because it's hard to let go sometimes. I'm glad you all liked my poem, and I hope to hear from more of you in passions.
