Destruction of Modern Day: Little gnomes prance gaily, Fairy's gather berries daily. Happiness in a fairy tale, Something that will never fail. Magical leaves fall to the ground On a beautiful, giant crinsky mound. They've buzzed through the skies for years and years They have only but one frightful fear. They fear the coming of modern day. An invention that destroys in every way. Squash all their homes, take their lives, It's the fear that inevitably arrives. These forest people who really do care Must stand strong and push out despair. Modern days destroy our fantasy, So we lack a strength for eternity. They forgot who they were and everything else. All who are left are the poor little elves. Don't let modern days destroy your mind. Keep your mind open; open and kind. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

hey Dope i'm sorry i haven't been replying..i haven't been online...i'm too busy in a sense..well with every poem you write i always love it and you know it!...and i really loved the theme of this poem..the words flow like the thundering of a steam roller coming down the street. "'I am the the lizard king I can do anything I can make the earth stop in its tracks I made the blue cars go away |
