I was seeking, in the sea of loneliness,
for a friend to light my way,
and I found you.

At the beginning,
my eyes couldn’t see deeper,
than my own reflection in the water.

But suddenly, a blinding light emerged,
from the turbulent waters,
allowing me to see for the first time.

I wish I could love you,
but we are just another shadow,
in the sea of darkness.

I’m happy now,
I can share my feelings,
with a true friend.

Well, this is my second poem, I wrote it to a friend that I met on the internet a few days ago. She is very nice with me, and she's so sweet, so I tried to write something about her, well, and fo her. I hope you like it, but every poem I have read here are so good. All of you guys are very good poets. I will try to work harder to post better poems. Thanks.

This was a good poem. And yea you don't have to try and post "better" poems. No need buddy, i mean.....i don't come on here to read crappy or good poetry, i just come on here to read poetry. So dont even worry about it, you are doing just fine.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Caz~~~You say "we are some kind of a family"...Hey why not...This is a home away from home for me...I love this place...Even if its just through poetry...I have made some good friends that I dont think I would meet just walking down the street...This is another "home" to everyone...A place where we can open our hearts and share love through poetry...
