This is a poem for my friend Jesica. This morning her step dad came to her family's house and he stabbed her mom and her dad (Her mom had been married three times) and stabbed her in the head and kidnapped her younger bro and sis. She was in critical condition this morning, and her condition was taken to below critical condition and she has a 50/50 chance of living or dying. Her older brother, Danny, wasn't there or he would have been killed. How could someone do something like that? They found the two little children and the guy who did that all and they have him in custody now. So here is a poem for my friend Jesica. Keep her in your prayers please. Why? Why did this happen? When everthing looked good? Her life was getting better, back to the way it should. Why did he do this? Why her? Why now? Why does everyone, only worry about how. Why can't we find out, whatever is wrong? Why did we sleep peacefully, all night long? Why were these people, hurt so bad? Why did he do this? It makes me so mad. She's one of God's children, she's left in his hands. He's a God of miracles, look at his many lands. So I leave my hope in him, and pray that everythings okay. And I wonder why that happend, to them on that day. Don't wander throught this glassy surface, expecting to find more than me, because what I am without a purpose, but a lone mirage to see. |

Well, since there ain't nobody writin' to me, i guess i have stuff to say. ummm, they improved jesica's condition to a wincey bit above critical and no one knows what's up. im at school and there were reporters outside only minutes ago. you never think something like this could happen to you or anyone near you until it does. Don't wander throught this glassy surface, expecting to find more than me, because what I am without a purpose, but a lone mirage to see. |

OMG! I am in shock! That is one of the most terrible things I have ever heard! Oh my gosh, sweetie, I am so sorry that this happened....I don't even know what to say! How is the rest of her family doing??? Well, I want you to know that this poem is so emotional and heart-felt and it seems like it was written on impulse b/c all ur feelings are right there in the lines. It's very good, but I think it's sad that you even had to write something like that. You and your friend and her family will DEFINITELY be in my prayers. Please keep us informed on how she's doing! Me again...I got it backwards...the FIRST quote is Dying to be Alive and the 2nd one is Song to Sing...my bad! |

Allysa~~~My heart and prayers go out to your friends family...That is so horrible that happened...Just thinking about that is so sad...And its sad to think that someone could actually do this...Be there for her Allysa...She needs you... *Falling in love is when you give someone a piece of your heart, falling out of love is when the piece doesnt fit* |

Oh Allysa, where do I begin?!?! I am sooo sorry to hear such a violent and sick crime has caused this all. I hope your friend is doing better and I want you to know, all of you are in my prayers. I had a friend who was brutally raped and murdered. I won't get into detail because it breaks my heart to even think about it...I am so sorry about this and I want you to know that I will be thinking about you all. Im so sorry that happened to your friend. It always seems like that stuff happens to the people who deserve it the least!!! anyways your situation inspired me to write my own poem...if you'd like to see it im going to post it, its called Every Day. Oh my dear, I'm so sorry for the loss! I know that know she is better and all her pain and suffering has ended. If it helps, just think about what she was going through (in the means of pain). I know it hurts, losing a good friend is something no one can even begin to word. If you need to talk, I am here, I lost my best friend Trent 7 months ago...long story though, I won't go into detail. Just remember that I am here and I know your friend is no longer suffering. I don't really know what to say but i hope that she lives and that they put her stepfather get the life sentence because as Hammurabi said, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. keep your spirits high and only think good thoughts. |

thank you all for replying and keeping her in your prayers. she died on Tuesday around one fifteen in the afternoon and her boyfriend, who we call Shady, was with her holding her hand.
