Well this is the beginning of the 4th Wave. Enjoy!

Piles of crumbs lay on the floor, I guess I forgot the vacum I was meaning to buy.
This is the reality that resides within every individuals mind.
I seem to lack conformity according to the director of intellect.
Candy cane wonderlands were always a false interpretation of drug abuse.
Why bother with political issues if I'm a communist at a half ass rate?
This is the reality that destroys the dreams of every toddler out there in this meaningless square earth.
Keep your cable television and T.V. dinners, your "How to" books and information super highway.
Let us be us!
May the children of tomarrow know the meaning of respect.
But for now, please pass the chicken.

HOly God! Erin thanks for the spell check. I REALLY need people to correct my spelling and grammatical errors. That's like one of the major things. Anyway, the last line is "funny" sure...... but it all has meaning. Each line is deep in its own sense. I'm not going to explain each and every line but this poem is like the epitome of anti-society. I love the style of this poem, I actually like the poem itself. But, I can see why people say the last line "cracks them up"..... But its basically a end point. Like, the guy speaking in the poem is at this dinner table, right? OK! And he's telling all these people how much he despises this and that and bla bla bla... all those lines in the middle. So he says his conclusion, which was the line erin liked...."may the children of tomorrow lean the meaning of respect". And then he's like.....oh hell, you can't teach an old dog new tricks...forget it........just pass me the chicken....... ya know....so yea.. thats like the setting and the ending. But all that's in between is complex......ok so bye!
