I laugh at your perception You think you are happy I laugh at your ignorance You aren't happy Do not be fooled by the glorification of a fool's paradise Only a fool would be amused You shredded my heart and made me bleed the clear burning drops that streamed my face, are of my own fault I thought you were the person I loved and trusted What a joke, and I learned it the hard way! There are so many things I would like to do to you... I would take your heart and break you in half Like you did to me, when I was nine I would lie to you, and promise you the world And make you believe I cared Then I would rip your heart out of your chest And drag it through the mud, then stomp on it for my own pleasure and amusement I would sentence you to live the rest of your life alone Your biggest fear would become a reality I would kick you when you were down I would make you feel worthless And just when you couldn't take any more... I'D DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! just because that's what you deserve; "dad" ~*~As you can see this one is dedicated to my dear old dad, who has made my life a living hell. I hate it when you think you are making headway in a situation and something floods out your mind and emotions and outpoors things like this. Wait a minuite, that makes great poetry which is something I love. I'm all screwed up. Anyway, I know how all of this feels. And I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on my worst enemy. Only the person that captured my love and adoration as a child. This is so sad, and I am so sorry that you have to deal with this, but you are not alone. Jessica, My heart goes out to you. I cannot say that I know how you feel, I could not imagine it. Being a father myself, I do not understand how someone could do that to a part of himself. I can promise you that I will strive every day to be the father to my little girl that she needs so that she will never have to feel the pain and resentment you do. I'm sorry your father is such a complete @$$ that he cannot see the havoc he has brought into your life. We are all here for you, even though we can't be what's missing. This is the reason why I've been avoiding netpoets for a while now....There are way too many great qriters in hear that express a lot of emotions on their poems...exactly like this one. Hey I know exactly how you feel. MY dad and I dont have a good relationship, i wouldn't call it a relationship at all. I always get all these pitty parties from him and i was so sick of it..but when he sued my mom I lost control of my emotions and i told him everything ive always wanted to say to him and i feel so much better now. except he sends me lil quotes everyday and it gets on my nerves...but its nice to know im not the only one w/ a krappy dad. my heart goes out to you!! It sucks, but I've moved on and I can get on with my life without him!
