I cried and cried, Until there were no mores tears, Left to fall. I thought and thought, Until I thought of every single thing, I could have said or done differently. And when I was done crying, And done thinking, That's when I realized. I realized it wasn't somethign I did, It wasn't something I said, It was you. It was you that treated me bad, It was you that put everything before "us," It wasn't me. So why do I blame myself? Why do I feel the hurt and not you? Why is it me? I can't answer any of those, Because I don't know, I don't know why you hurt me. I don't know why I still love you, Why I still care, Because I shouldn't. I won't care, I won't love you, Because for one I'm putting me before you. I'm hurting myself, Just as much as you're hurting me, And I have to stop it. Yes, I love you. But I can't take the hurt and the pain, That comes along with loving you. It takes a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like them, a day to love them, and a lifetime to forget them. Great to see you back!!!!  I hope this poem doesn't apply to you. It's very well-written, but I hate to see anyone go through this. Like Shakespeare said, "The course of true love never did run smooth". You have to go through some bad times and some wrong people before you get to the right one. Hey great poem! It made me cry cos I know exactly what you're going through. My boy friend of the past year just broke up with me which was hard. Your poem made me realise that I can't go on blamming myself and I have to move on. I hope you're taking your own advice! I keep telling myself life must go on and there'll be someone better out there for me but its easier said than believed! geez...another one who know's what you're talking bout...it's been like half a year ago now and still I'm thinking about what I did wrong...but a friend of mine kinda explained me what happened at one time and why he was changing or something...but he is like kinda acting normal to me again and now I just don't know what to do with it...should I take him back or just leave it all behind..? I guess he knows what he's doing to me, I don't know if he misses me as much as I do... Hey! This was awesome. I feel the same way a bout someone. I wrote a poem about it awhile ago, too. IT was called I Shouldnt But I Do...it was about how I still have feelings for someone even tho i know i shouldnt.
