On the streets w/ people

Driving down the freeway,
rushing to make a class
The light on my dashboard shines
Over heating?  But I'm in a rush!

I pull into the rest stop,
pop the hood on up
the radiator's leaking
and the fan just won't work

With help from a stranger
The fan works again
I take the risk to make it
but for class I'll be so late

Just three miles from the building
the stop sign stalls my car
Sitting in the intersection
waiting for some help

Finally I arrive to the room
and they're just getting out!
oh well maybe next time
I won't take the highway of disaster.

Ok, I just had to get some of my anger out with this poem! I know this doesn't flow good at all.  I was on my way to a college orientaion for an online class and my parent's van overheated.  Ugh!  Well some guy helped me with it and I thought I was going to make it (only 30 minutes late), but then it stalled at a stop sign and someone else stopped and helped my push it off the road.   The worst part is I could have just gotten a ride with someone else who was going to the same thing (I would have ridden but I was going to stop at some stores after and I didn't think he'd want to mess with that).  But I'm home now, as for the van.........it still rests out there, on that highway of disaster.

Blah! That is a really bad situation. But look on the bright side, tomorrow is another day!!! (I've read "Gone with the wind" just ONE time too many!)

Hey, I like this bunches. Problems (Esp car troubles) are irritating. Been there, done that, whatever, I walk now. (prob because I can't drive) Anyhow, atleast you can drive. And gone with the wind is a good book. brings back weird memories from a younger more innocent time in my life. Oh, and if anyone cares, I'm not freezing anymore!

Hey, neat job on this.  What a horrible story.
Ah, well.  Missing class is fun sometimes.
