not heaven nor hell so...

This poem is not meant to offend anyone, it is just a personal feeling that I have, if any one gets offended by this then I am sorry.

At night I sit and stare,
At a sky so dark and lonely,
Are you man?
Or just a myth,
Should we put our faith in you?
The world falls down around us,
Yet we still believe in you,
I find it hard to find faith,
When there is so much pain everywhere.
I ask myself constantly,
Are you a man,
Or just a myth,
Should we put our fait in you?
And I never get an answer.
I’ve never seen your miracle,
I’ve never been saved,
I’ve been dealt a nasty hand,
And I can’t give it back.
So I’ll ask myself once again,
Are you a man,
Or just a myth,
Should we put our faith in you?
And I hope that you will answer,
Change my hand,
Let me win,
Show me a miracle.

Beautiful is empty
Beautiful is free
Beautiful loves no one
Beautiful stripped me

Ah!  I am so offended!  Hehe, just kidding…

I assume you’re talking about God.  If you are, I can’t answer your question.  Even if you aren’t, I still can’t answer your question, cause then I have no clue who you’re talking about…Very beautiful work…alalalablah, yummy yum yum….

Take it easy babe,

I don't think readers would be offended AngelShell. Many of us have sought answers and questioned this. There is no harm in wanting to know the answers and exploring your faith. I've always found that the answers though, are subtle, and not often forthcoming. Sometimes, all it takes to realize there is something greater out there, is to see one little smile, one kind gesture, one small, but positive act amongst a world gone crazy ... to maintain the faith. Take care,

Best wishes,
/Kit

This is a real hard post to reply to for me. I'm a firm believer in the one and only Allah (God). Your question, I know I've asked many times, but it can't be answered. God put us here and let us figure out the way. I rather blame society for my situations, that's the only one to blame. We have emerged over the years into this blind society that puts before us all these situations that lead to pain. We created this ourselves. It is not He who made life the way it is today, it is the generation after generation of changes that created this. Miracles happen from the power of God, but what miracle can he bring to you that you deserve. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but that's how it works.... Life doesn't function on an Ask and Recieve bases. This is just my firm belief. I wasn't offended by your poem, but I believe that God should recieve the respect he deserves, for look around you and see what you have. Hope this doesn't sound as bad as I think, no hard feelings.

Let me tell you right now, I am not in any way, shape, or form offended! I think we all (myself even more so) doubt the great holy one. I have seen too many good people suffer and good people hurt and even too many good people die. I don't understand how bad people live long undeserved lives while innocent good people don't live the lives they deserve. I still question the existence of god. Things that exist to me, are things I can touch, taste, smell, see, and hear. I can detect god with none of these...which gives me reason not to believe. But I can say that my opinion will change the day I see him/her prove his/her existence. Keep it up!! Love Always ~*~Jessica~*~
