Immaculate shiny hair
Clad in designer wear
Craving to melt into 'normal society'
Where insecure SHEEP revel
In their own, oblivious, mundane lives.
Yelling, "Hey, I like you..(especially those shoes)"
Whispering, "That boy yonder is STARING at ME!"
Pitying(secretly laughing) at elderly in wheelchair,
Sneering disgustedly at apparent deformities
Shivering, selfish fear of uncontagious diseases
Wrapping thick veils of personal oh-so-significant
Problems, shrouding themselves
From the harsh art of living.

"Controlling my feelings for too long....
And forcing our darkest souls to unfold...
And pushing us into self-destruction...."

Wow, what a piece! You've said it all, my friend. I'm glad that you see things for what they really are. Keep up the good work!
