I wish things were the way, the way they were before. When life was simple, When there were no guys to adore. When the greatest pain you could have possibly endured, Was just a small scrape on your knee, Not a heart that couldnt Love anymore... Everything has changed since i've grown. I dont like this kind of life anymore! My friends have changed day to day, I dont feel like i know anyone. Their not the same people they were yesterday! I've been introduced to so many new and scary things. I've watched the people i shared crayons with Throw all of their lifes away. Listened to the way they talked, Looked at the way the walked It took my breath away. I've grown away from many, I'm still growing up with few. Friends that were suppose to last forever. I realize, Never really do. I've grown up to fast, Witnessed way to many things. I want to go back to when life was simple, Back when i was small, You know...the way things were before... |

 Welcome to Passions I liked this poem, it's a sad reminder that people do change and wont always be who they are today. There are many times when I wish I could just go back to the way things were before too. Nice entrance into Passions! |

Excellent post. I love the idea of going back to the way things used to be. Times were great then, weren't they? This poem is kind of a bittersweet joy. It brings back all of those great memories, but still shows the reality of the way that people and the world changes. Excellent post. |
