I apologize for what has gone on with us...
Or possibly the lack there of.
I wish my mind was not so stern with it's demands,
that my soul had not already been scarred.

I saw so much in you,
that I thought I'd never see,
But you hurt me more than you could know,
You took my life away from me.

Things should have been different,
you should have given me time to breathe.
But things don't always go as planned,
and this was how our story went.

One day I will get over this,
I may diminish all my fears,
Maybe we'll be the best of friends,
But it's hard to hold back all my tears.

Oh hun i know EXACTLY how you feel. The only advice I have is keep your head up. Things can only get better I promise! I got my heart broken SO SO SO bad and it hurt just to see pictures of him. Everytime I thought i was over him I'd see him and he'd smile at me and i'd just like relapse. It was horrible. But you'll meet someone new, and you'll wonder why you wasted all your time on the othre guy

jenn~~~i am soo sorry that you feel this way...i have been in that stage of my life...once...over someone that i loved and i thought he loved me back...but now i realize it was all a little game he had worked out in his head...a game that he won...but he is now my past...ive found someone that is a best friend and a boyfriend in one...and honestly im glad the relationship didnt last cuz i wouldnt be as happy as i am now...just like DQ said things will only get better...and you know what it always does...keep your head up...eventually you will find someone new that wont make you want to think of this guy you are writing about...and hopefully that day will come very soon...

I'm so sorry to hear what you are going thru. Your poem tells me how well your taking it though. Your poem shows me the strength in you. It may not be enough but it's a lot more than what others have when they go thru the same situation. If only I could do something to make you feel better. Name it

For everything I could say about this piece, I feel that my words would only diminish the value of those feelings set forth. So I will not adorn the patronizing tone of post- adolescence, nor try to compare what I may have been through to your pain. I will sum it up in one word:
