To fall in love or break it up And if young love is just a game Anything but I'd go through hell for you And I haven't been this scared in a long time And I'm so unprepared This world's an ugly place But you're so beautiful to me Two different people, two different places Through a one way window with two different faces It was you who told me that, it wouldn't work because we come from different places and that we mask ourselves with differnt faces She looks at me and doesn't know the words to say But it's not her, she just doesn't feel quite right today When I woke up, the rain was pourin' down. There were people standing all around. All these things she'd say and do were never planned But how is she supposed to make me understandSomething warm going through my eyes, She lift her head, she looked at me and said,"Hold me darling just a little while." I held her close. I kissed her our last kiss. I found the love that I knew I had missed. Well now she's gone, even though I hold her tight. I lost my love, my life, that night. Very True its has parts of a song or songs, but thats what makes it alittle bit interesting  thanks for the responses |

Funny I thought this was a great poem/song until it occured to me that the last 2 stanzas are already a published song by pearl jam. Nice try, can't wait to see some of YOUR poems in the forum. woaa....see I wouldn't have known this was a song to tell you the truth, I don't listen to much english music, but I'm disappointed to hear that....I'm sure you can write your own and post it, we all have it in us and we all gotta try it out sometime. Hope to see some work soon.... Salooma |
