Silence
when the world is buzzing
all I hear is
Silence

Wanting
without you here beside me
I am left
Wanting

Needing
all the love I once felt
that I now am
Needing

Smiling
I sit and think of thoughts of you
and I am
Smiling

Laughing
remembering all our good times
and I remain
Laughing

Hoping
all the emotions come back to
wondering if you too are
Hoping

I very much enjoyed this piece. The style, the form, the way you made it all come together. Great writing.

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shodows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face...
