She has clear eyes and a sapphire voice
When she sighs you can see her heart.

Pain is subtle and her voice is sometimes hoarse from all the crying and screaming.
Her throat gets sore from all the words she is forced to swallow.

When she is held she is healed,
And her laughter can fill the sky.

She has learned to dance into the center of her fears,
And she holds her hand under her heart,
To make sure it stays glued together...
To make sure it doesn't fall apart...again.

Unwilling to go forward, and unable to let go
She is simple yet mysterious.

She collects mirrors and can see into your soul.
She only builds slow fires, and she thinks in black and white,
But always dreams in vibrant colors.

She is scared to be touched, yet yearns for the shimmering, shivering heat of another.

She is alive.

I love it! I always go for the dark and mysterious poems. Very, very good job. I'd love to read more from you. Peace out, chick!
