It's been 8 years of friendship Your leaving me now and never coming back What am I supposed to do? I even cried when you told me the bad news All I have now are memories A long term friend I won't see you in the usual places At church In choir At softball In my house At volleyball In youth A long term friend Who am I supposed to confide in now? You will be missed is all I can say I knew something bad was going to happen But I never thought it would be this All I can say is that I will always be here for you A long term friend "True friends stab you in the front" "True love last forever" |

chel~~~im sorry that this is happening to you...i really do hope that your friend doesnt leave...its hard when you lose a friend...but really you wont be losing her/him as a friend...it will just be harder on you to be friends...with the far distance between yous...keep up the good work... ~No one is worth your tears, and the one who is wont make you cry~ ~We all cant be stars but we all can twinkle~ |

I'm so sorry that your friend is leaving. I know i would hate to have my best friend leave me. From experience long distance friendships are hard to keep. But keep your head up. It sucks when a long-time friend leaves. You brung that emotion out pretty well. Nice job. |

Well Chel.... I know that there are no magic answers to banish the pain of this loss, but I do have a little wisdom to share if you'd like.....well, I'm gonna do it anyways whether you like it or not. Miss your friend as much as you can and always think about her. Even if you're not aware of it, your friend has in some way shaped a little bit of who you are and taught you things. The one thing that you really should do is everytime you do somelthing, accomplish something, or say something that this friend has taugth you in some way or inspired you to do......think about her and smile....think about her and just feel warm inside and thankful to have been gifted with part of her life.....that's just my advice, I suppose I could be wrong...but that would mean the end of the world. Thank you everyone for your replies. I really enjoyed reading them. Anyway, thanks for all the advice that was given, what would I do without friends like you? I have absolutely no idea. Chel, I'm sorry to hear that your friend is leaving. I have no idea what I would without my best friend. She's like a sister to me and i can't imagine her not being there.
