As he lies on the ground
with a bullet through his
she cries heart wrenching sobs
they were suppose to die together
like romeo and Juliet with the dagger
and the poison

She told him she loved do anything for
him they were going to die together
she wanted die he wanted to die
as the bullet went through his skull
she wanted to live not die

as days pass she walks in sorrow
for the love of her life is dead
and its all her fault she could have stopped

her long black blowing wildly in the iwnd as they
lowered his body in the inky grave
she knew they had made a mistake
she ran forward and dropped a black rose
a red and a white rose on his coffin
she spoke three words
"I Love you, James"

Welcome to Passions Regina!

This is a powerful first post. I'm relieved that the slant on this poem does not glorify suicide, but rather, it shows the sad reality and heartbreak that is left behind. Take care ...

Best wishes,
