My Life in the Movies

When I close my eyes I see
an alternate world inside
it's neat and kinda scary
and sometime from it I hide.

No, I am not a psychic
but a dreamer of dreams
and there anything can happen
to bring a smile or loud screams.

They say it's the subconscious
my mind on the night shift detail
to work out my life's problems
and figure out where I've failed.

Kinda like running my scan disk
an inventory it nightly makes
looking through my clusters of thought
trying to correct the mistakes.

The video system entertains you
with it's wierd and freaky clips
it somehow edits together
and replays it's little skits.

It's called"My Life in the Movies"
at least it's my life in my dreams
and comparing it to my daytimes
My life's not nearly bad as it seems.

I seek to be me-
and all I can be!
