How can it be said
Without missing you
How can it be said
Without loving you
It cant

You don’t want me to go
But you want me to be happy
You don’t want to say those words
That could make you cry
You want me to be with you
For another day and more

The time has come though
You know I will be back
In a short time
You know I will miss you
For the time we are apart
You know I love you
And always will

Through the good
Through the bad
You have been there
And will be for the times to come

Love, hate, separation, and togetherness
Bring us together
Keep us together
The time we are apart
Will bring us closer

Please don’t cry while I am gone
Smile knowing I am happy
Smile knowing I miss you
Smile knowing I love
Smile for me
And for you

I'm sorry that the two
of you will be apart...
But as they say, "absence
makes the heart grow fonder"
so hopefully when you are
back, your love will be
stronger than ever!!!
