Hey guys..This is a really deep poem.  I want you to know that I didn't write this about my own personal experience it was about a friend's experience...I tried to write it from her point of view.  Please tell me what you think.

Mystery

When I first looked into your eyes,
I saw beautiful eyes filled with happiness,
Filled with hopes and dreams.

The twinkle in your eye amazed me.
The mystery within your eyes that reeled me in,
That melted my heart.

When I looked into your eyes,
I felt safe,
And soon that twinkle in your eye was also in mine.

As I grew closer to you I saw that twinkle begin to fade,
I saw that mystery that reeled me in begin to push me away.
I saw the pain deep within, and the hurt in your heart.

The twinkle in your eye was just a cover,
When really you were longing for someone to talk to,
And I was there for you.

You told me that I wouldn't understand,
That the things that happened to you were not for me to hear,
And still further I was pushed.

Just when I thought you were about to let me in,
You told me you loved,
But your life was about to end.

I didn't put two and two together,
And I lost that love,
And that twinkle.

Still you were right,
I don't understand why,
Why you're not with me now.

I'll never know...
...what forced you to do this,
...what made you end your life.

I still think about you,
Now that you're up above,
I hope the angels are taking care of you.

I can still see that twinkle in your eye,
The pain within you heart,
And the mystery that forced you to die.

Oh, this is so sad. I'm so sorry that your friend had to go through this. There's nothing more terrible than having someone you love take their life. Be there for your friend as much as you can. I'll be praying for her.

Wow...this poem "is" a mystery.  It's like a true story that can never be finished.  just so ya know, I voted for this...something about the mystery just moves me...I think it can affect a lot of people...tell your friend that she's in my thoughts.
