*we all know the feeling of putting an assignment off until the last minute. well, one day i remembered this little english assignment that was due the next period. it was this poem! i had to do rhyme scheme and every thing, but it is my true tribute to slackers everywhere (especially me! i got an A). and i also wanted to lighten the mood in here a little bit. enjoy.*

Procrastinating: Easy as Pie

I always seem to procrastinate.
I never do my work.
I put things off until the due date.
And there's so much stress it hurts.

I always seem to get it done.
I never catch the bunch
of consequences that come with the fun
of doing my work at lunch.

"The bar is always open
and the time is always right.
If god's word goes unspoken,
then the music plays all night."

This is a creative poem. I enjoyed it a lot. Write some more poems like this because it is relaxing.

You certainly did a good job of lightening things up a bit. Loved the poem for it's simplisticness.

I am the eternal procrastinator...just ask my forman at work.  I like simple effortless procrastination that you put into this poem...how ironic, I'd say.

Great poem.  I don't know anyone that doesn't procrastinate once in a while.  Well great poem.  Glad you got an A.  Keep up the good work.

I would have done so much better in english if I had taken the time to proofread.  But that's kind of tough when you only have a half hour to type a paper off of the top of your head.  Very well said, and thanks for the tribute, I resembled that remark

I always leave things till the last minute!  My mum tells me off and my excuse is "I work better under presure."  It's true I always seem to get better marks!  Great poem!  Love to see more poems like this.

Great poem, man do I know what that feels like! You can't do that in college so much though. You'll find yourself crashing and burning.

Great work Ethan, very cute poem!  I too procrastinate more often than I should, yet somehow it never gets me in trouble!  If u can get away with it, what's the problem?
