"Sometimes bad things happen"
is all they can say to me.
Maybe if I hadn't taken their advice,
this is a place I'd never have to be.

Swallowed up with selfpity,
never agian to see the light of day,
for all my misguided ignorance,
I've ended up this way.

Their words cut my flesh,
yet I know them to be true,
they would never really hurt me so bad,
as did you.

EVEN ANGELS FALL.

this is a poem that i like very much...but do you really think getting your heart broken is like hell??? it is yeah but really it is a learning experience...well at least thats how i see it now...

This was a great poem. Having your heart broken does hurt quite a bit. I hope things get better and that you get out of "Your Own Hell". Keep up the great writing.

I think this is a great poem. When you get your heart broken it does make you sad. I Know their are people who don't break hearts. Thank for sharing this poem and i hope to read more
