Rose pedals drown my bed,
and the roses lead to you;
it has been a rough day for me,
but you caress me,
and tell me the day is through.
I wonder how I missed things,
and gave up on so much;
if only you had come in my life sooner
things wouldn't be a big rush.
This feeling from you holds me tight,
embraces my every need
and you call with your wonderful voice
giving my heart a lovely relief.
You hold me in the water,
run your fingers through my hair,
trace my eyes and tender lips,
proving to my heart you care.
How I wish I didn't need you,
and didn't need your call,
and didn't need your guiding hand
to help me climb this wall.
But all these wonderful things,
i've never felt before,
and I wish I didn't need you
and that you'd open up this door.
But it's true,
we will never be
because in your perfect love and care,
you never did love me.

Just imagine what a simple touch from the person we care could do. I'm sorry to hear that he doesn't feel the same way though.
