There is a girl I call my best friend,
and I know that she will always be there.
She has been my friend for a long time,
I believe that she really does care.

She always has a smile,
crossed upon her face.
Unless she is mad,
putting others in there place.

She tells you what she knows,
rarely hearing any lies.
You will only know the truth,
if you look in her big brown eyes.

But then one day,
I couldnt find my best friend.
Looking in the mirror,
i realized our friendship reached its end.

Erin...I've been going through a departure from all of my best friends for the last year. We were the tightest, most open, invloved group of guys and gals that I'd ever heard of. We formed and met just just after reaching adulthood. Now.. work, fiancees, babies, and who know's what else has had us pulled apart for a long time. We all live so close together, but nothink is the same. I'm never going to have these people back, so I'm particularly happy to know that you gained back your heart.

well i don't know how this feels cause i've always had my best friend to talk to. but i rather enjoyed the poem and hope to see more from you.

This poem really sums up what I am going through right now. I just lost two of my best friends. I am just glad that you got yours back. Great Poem!

Great poem! Ive lost my best friend. I was loyal to her, she was all i had. she got into the wrong crowd,left me for them and that was the end of us. so i underatnd what you are saying. I look forward to reading more from you.
