I wrote this in Spanish I hope you guys don't mind:

SIREN:

Es verdad lo que dicen
Eres una sirena.
Yo tendra cuidado contigo
Es verdad lo que dicen
¡Mi flor venenosa!
¡Mulatta peligrosa!
Y el que te sigue,
se ahoga.

It sounds beautiful when read out loud Jose, ... can you translate for me just for fun, I don't speak Spanish (Canadian here ... French is my second language on this end)?  I'd love to see the English cross-over!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Jose~this poem is wonderful, and while I do speak spanish, I'm not fluent and still have much to learn. I can catch the general jist of it by what I know, but I think if you could do your best to do a translation it would help me to capture the essence of it! I know that translating will take away a littl from the poem as nothing can be translated perfectly, but if you could try it would be great!! thanks! Always~*~Jessica~*~

At your requests, here's a rough translation of my poem:

      SIREN:

It's true what they say.
You are a mermaid
I'll be careful around you
It's true what they say
Poisonous flower!
Dangerous mulatto!
He who folows you,
Drowns

I loved this poem as well.  It seems as though have been doing this for a while.  I loved the poem in Spanish, just wished I could have understood it.  It was beautiful in English too.  I hope you keep this up.

Luv always,
Michelle

Thank you all for the responses. I'm glad you like the poem. Thanks for taking the time to try it in Spanish. I regret to inform you that a lot was lost in the translation. I hope you still enjoy the English version.
