Cruel World The world can be so cruel and harsh It makes me want to cry It turns its back on me I ask myself why Sometimes my friends leave They too turn away And I just wait in hoping Tomorrow is another day Sometimes things are more than I can take It makes me want to scream But when it all seems too much I still have my dream Sometimes people are rude and cruel They care not how others feel Their words hurt and scar Because I believe it’s all real Sometimes I get so lost But I know one thing is true When the whole world turns away I still have one thing You To all of you that have read my past poems, this is off my usual topic. I wrote this about my boyfriend, and I guess the rest is pretty self-expanitory. Thanks for reading- Bel |

At least you know that all us guys aren't bad!!! I'm sincerely glad to hear that you have that element in your life. I wish I did right now. I've got some friends that I never get to see because I've been forced into workaholism, but basically, I've been taking this big bad world of work, taxes, bills, and scrutiny on all alone.
