~*~My Graduation Day~*~

I knew as soon as I walked across the stage,
that my life was starting to change.
The day arrived so quick I didnt know what was happening,
But the it hit me when they called my name and everyone started clapping.
By the end of the night I said my final good~byes,
though as I walked away I seen tears in alot of eyes.
It hasnt been that long but yet it is in my past,
throughout the 4 years in High School I never thought Graduation Day would come so fast.

***This is dedicated to all my friends at John F. Kennedy H.S. and to the CLASS OF 2000...

Don't make me start thinking about high school, damn it!!!!  Don't worry, in a couple of years, you'll be talking to kids who are graduating and saying exactly what i am right now.

Erin~ I know how you feel. (well sort of) I still have a few years left in high school, but I know lots and lots of people who graduated this year and my school just won't be the same with out them. Best Of Luck to you as you take your steps out into the world with out the securities of HS! I loved this poem as well as all of your others. Thanks for making me see that I need to have the best of times in high school because it goes by soo fast. Keep it up! Love Always~*~Jessica~*~
