When I look up at the sky I sometimes just start to cry Thinking about my friends and family I miss And then lightly blowing them a kiss I wonder if they can feel the wind The touch of that kiss I send Are they thinking about me, And hopefully watching over me? Someday I'll be up there Then I won't have a fear to bare No more hurt, no more pain I wouldn't have to live my life in vain Until then, this earth is my place And this horrible suffering, I do have to face So I send them I goonight kiss Letting them know, its them I miss |

Nikki, Very touching poem. Sometimes I wonder why they say that reading poems heals the heart when all it does is actually make us feel or remember our past aches and relive them again. Maybe that's the way we heal. To tell you truth, I believe that you don't even have to blow them a kiss. They live in you and they feel everything that you go thru and every love that you have for them. But still, it's a very touching gesture to do. I should start doing that too. Thanks for sharing this poem. |

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss!! I know that one day you'll see them again and it will be the happiest day you have yet to endure! Just keep the faith and I know sometimes it's hard, but at times it may be the only thing keeping you going. My heart is with you!
