Father my whole life you were gone, only to return forever when you retired and Hannah was born. 15 years you were gone and each year filled with tears. You left us for your job. not one of my birthday's were you here and you stole my whole childhood from me cause i was the oldest and had to take charge and now that your home are relatsionship is still bared. you treat me different like a solider or guard. Not as a son in a loving father's arms.

This is a very touching poem. Sad but well written and expressed. I know how you feel not having a father around...I hope that things work out alright for you. Keep writing.

i know the feeling, i can't even remember my father...sometimes i wonder why i try to, and i can't even find the answer to that. guess thats the way it was ment to be.

well JEREMIAH what can i say another BEAUTIFUL poem written by you...i give you props for this poem...you know that my mom left us...for some guy and let my father finish rasing us...it wasnt the best but we had someone to take care of us feed us and love us...at least you had your mom...and one day you will get repaid for what you did...
