This Time, She Will

Crying upon my shoulder
sincere, bleeding tears.
Bestowing and showing the trust in me
I'd prayed for all these years.
She gently lifts her head
and wipes her moistened cheek.
Peering into my eyes,
she quietly starts to speak.
Simple fragments of gratitude-
words that echo still:
"You know I've never thanked you,
but it's time I think I will."

NICE POEM..I GUESS THAT FROM WHAT I READ YOU MUST BE A SOFT HEARTED GUY IF YOU LET A GIRL CRY ON YOUR SHOULDER.. AWWWWWWWW HOW SWEET!!BUT IF IT WAS JUST A POEM YOU WROTE, ITS STILL SWEET THAT YOU WOULD WRITE SOMETHING LIKE THAT. GUYS THAT LET GIRLS CRY ON THERE SHOULDERS SHOW ALOT ABOUT THEM. Jeremy,
I like this poem, but more to the point I like what you say in this poem about letting a girl cry on your shoulder. I think that is so sweet. Anyhoo, I hope this was written from personal experience.

well i must say that this is another really good poem, kutos to jeremy, lol i love that word, anyway
i think it shows the ur yearning to be with her, but only when shes ready, ur there for her but u dont push her into something, you wait for her to realize that she loves you too

Jeremy~You're such a great friend. Being there for people you love is something that is a necessity in life and what you give to people as your contribution, you'll receive the same. YOu deserve a lot more than you've had given to you...It seems that you haven't been compensated for what you've sacrificed. I hope that some day some where you will be repayed!
