I wrote this about a year and a half ago for some friends who were going through hard times, but it's really for anyone who needs to be reassured that we are all unique, special, and BEAUTILFUL people.  Thanks for reading
~~Kandi/Kris~~

**Rainmaker**

When you feel like all your hopes and all your dreams are forever lost,  I will find them and give them back to you.
When you think that that far off star will never be reached,  I will take your hand and pull you into the light.
When it feels like everything is slipping away,  and you think your dream world isn’t close enough to get to,  I will wake you up and show you that you are already there.
When it seems as if you have nothing to gain and everything to lose,   I will give you the strength you need to risk it all.
When you are soaring so high that there is nowhere for you to go but down,  I’ll be standing in your shadow,  waiting to break your fall.
When you hit the bottom and think all hope is gone,  I’ll be standing over you,  reaching out to help pull you back up on your feet.
When is seems as if nothing is left and your soul has gone dry,  I’ll be your rainmaker.
And when you start to cry because it feels like you were never good enough,  I’ll be there,  telling you that you were never anything less than beautiful.

This is so beautiful!!  It's a very sweet and inspirational poem, sure to let the person it was written for know how much you care.  Sometimes poetry is a great outlet to express to someone how much you care.  Because sometimes it seems like no one does.  Great job, I'm impressed by alot of your work.

You wanna know something?... If there were more friends out there like you and me, there world would be a better place..I've come to realize that in my damn old age.  So often, we give ourselves for the happiness of friends, and just as often our friends can't find the love inside to do the same. I don't know if it's like that for you, but something tells me it is.  I noticed that the last lines of your poetry always hit hard, I like that....If you ever need to feel beatiful, you can email, I'm full of hope and wisdom.

Because when you love someone you control their version
of reality. If you lie to them that's like making them
autistic so that what they believe is reality is in fact,
not their true situation at all."

It's not the angry words that break the heart, it's the silence.

Someone said that true love is like a ghost -- often spoke of but never seen.
I've seen both and yet in my darkest hours, tend to believe that neither exits.

This is so beautiful...it's like a song.
Sometimes when you give so much and you don't get the same back it kinda hurts...
Anyway keep writing!

"Hiding in the musty attic is Elusive
She sits, cross legged in a midst dark cobwebs
Several forms scurry to seek shelter
Beneath her levitating shadow.
Her back rigid , eyes glassy
Gazes intently at time escaping
Sliding, smoothly, as sand sprinkles
Through the hour glass,
A single tear grazes her misty cheek." Lani
