I begin my long journey
On a cold winter's day
To take what's inside me
And throw it away
For this world doesn't want
What I have to give
That being the case
No more will I live

I've been but a fool
But really not stupid
For I know this cold world
Has no use for Cupid
It's the curse of my birth
That's all I can say
There's really no worth
Born on Valentine's Day

Despite all the protests
And pleadings of God
I'm abandoning love
For it's just a facade
Kindness and charity
I'll leave behind too
In this world full of hate
I've got nothing to do

With no tears left to cry
To water my garden
No more arrows have I
As I watch my heart harden
With no Love Seeds to plant
That I can watch flower
I reach my first stop
As I gather my power

I enter the temple
Through a window above
And place my shattered heart
On The Alter of Love
I feel somewhat weaker
Having taken it out
Then my thoughts become bleaker
As I hear my soul shout

A scream from within
At a world to defy
"YOUR LOVE'S BUT A SIN
AND YOUR HEART'S JUST A LIE!"
As I watch my heart fade
Complete from existence
My journey leads onward
With the utmost persistence

As I reach my next goal
I really don't care
While I heave my old soul
Into The Pit of Despair
Creativity and dreams
I cast in there too
In this world without vision
I'm left feeling so blue

As I stroll down the path
To The Wood of Dark Things
I break off what's left
Of my once brilliant wings
I get to the edge
Of the canopy veil
And with the rest of my strength
I let the wings sail

Now setting a fire
I make it burn slow
For my precious possession
My beautiful bow
Extending my hand
There's no way to stop
As into the fire
I let the bow drop

I end my long journey
At The River of Madness
Standing on the bank
I toss in my sadness
I watch it go down
'Til no more could I see
The last remaining feelings
That once lived in me

I stand for a while
With only my silence
I feel no more love
I see no more violence
Without heart mind and soul
I'm now merely a shell
So in this strange world
No more will I dwell

I take my last walk
To the cliffs by the sea
For I know the last sacrifice
Must surely be me
With no emotions to hide
Nor thoughts in my head
I leap off the edge
'Cause I'm already dead

For you see there's no way
That I can now live
Without a heart to feel love
Or a soul that will give
I tell you this now
Please listen to me
Or an empty mindless specter
Is all you will be

You must open your eyes
And see what I see
For now you're in control
Of your own destiny
If you live without love
I'm telling you all
Your heart will be weak
And your mind will be small

The resurrection of me
Is what you can do
If you share all the love
That is given to you
Please head these words
As I take my last breath
I think to myself
While I plummet to death

Regret not that which you have done,
Rather that which you haven't

Hail the great archer,
Who spanned the dark woods,
Procuring arrows of love.

Expressing himself,
In the finest way,
Loving his God above.

LOVE IS GOD, LOVE IS WAR, LOVE IS WHAT YOUR LIFE IS FOR.

Beautiful.  Took my breathe away.
(By the way, did you know your title line has a typo?)  Or did you spell Angel like "Angle" on purpose?

...when the pupil is ready, the Teacher will appear.

Ok, I was just looking at some of my old work and saw that the title's typo is still there. I've tried to change it because it's supposed to be "Death of an Angel" not "Angle". Anyways, sorry about the typo and not being able to fix it.
