'Tis a dark day indeed
Beneath the purple skies
A dark day indeed
For now I realize
A dark day indeed
No more to see your eyes
A dark day indeed
As the sun begins to rise

'Tis a dark day indeed
I now become aware
A dark day indeed
No longer do I care
A dark day indeed
To have you standing there
A dark day indeed
I feel only despair

'Tis a dark day indeed
That makes me wonder why
A dark day indeed
That brings these tears I cry
A dark day indeed
In sadness I now sigh
A dark day indeed
Now prying that I die

'Tis a dark day indeed
That blisters me with sin
A dark day indeed
Because I did not win
A dark day indeed
No strength left to begin
A dark day indeed
That hurts so deep within

'Tis a dark day indeed
That makes me feel so cold
A dark day indeed
For the story has been told
A dark day indeed
No longer am I bold
A dark day indeed
Alone as I grow old

'Tis a dark day indeed
With all these words I say
A dark day indeed
And the message they convey
A dark day indeed
My heart it had to pay
A dark day indeed
When you took my soul away

Dark_kisses_Within: Hi Mags! Happy New Year!!!

"Gifted"...I don't know about that. I just have a lot of rather unusual thoughts that run through my head from time to time. But thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this piece. I kinda liked it too!

Take care Mags!

Thank you...I think. It spoke to you? How so, if I may ask? Well, I'm glad you liked it as well. Take care and I wish you all the best in 2001!

I know they only took away your soul retorically speaking, but I HAVE to add (you know me) that they can't really take it away emotionally, it is always there, (Maybe quite wounded and needing lots of tlc but always there)...
Enjoyed the depth of feeling portrayed here my friend...
