My Christmas present to myself this year,
Is nothing that can be brought or sold,
Nothing really material,
Nothing I can hold.

I'm slowly piecing together,
What I call my 'Inspirational Bible',
Special quotes, letters, cards or poetry,
From friends, family and people I love all the while.

Inspirational reminders for when I'm feeling low,
Words of comfort, encouragement and love,
A book of memories, so precious and true,
Gifts of happiness and heart sent from above.

These are the things that matter,
Not possessions or coin,
Gifts from spirit to spirit, soul to soul,
The most precious gift I could receive on Christmas morn.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

What a wonderful and beautiful idea
a book to look back on when feeling low
I have been out sorts this Christmas
trying to find the spirit and all
My husband keeps asking what I want
the poor thing even took me shopping
which he hates.And still I couldnt give him any guidance.I thank you for your gift to you I think I might try to round up all my card memories and poetry too.
The only thing I really want for CHristmas
is peace and love within everyones hearts
Not shallow offerings Just because they feel they need to.

Jane so glad you like the idea. Get hubby to get you a proper hardcover blank notebook, a handsome looking one, maybe even leather look you know? And fill it with special inspirational things, and then you too can have your own personal emotional bible. They are a special keepsake in so many ways..
