The Day I met you

The day I met you..
I knew something was there.
We became friends
We got to know one another..
I moved on and we lost touch..
Only for us to find one another again
I in the middle of something bad.
My feelings only grew stronger.
Yet I didn't see until now
How much you meant to me.
I lost that something bad
lost in mixed emotions
You were there...
You opened my heart
and my eyes.
Now I'm lost in your eyes.
You took what should have been yours.
So long ago.. now things set right
we once again getting to know
What we forgot.
You'll forever have my
Heart

Thank you.. Sometimes it can be hard when you relize things just didn't go right and to try to rebuild what should have been is not easy.. but we are trying.
