The Death of Love

Scared I am
For love has died
Stolen away
Into the dark night

Dripping softly
Like the tears of a child
The clear rain
Falls on my soul

I dream of nothing
Silent and dark
I know there is nothing
For my love has withered

Screams into the darkness
Cries of a time gone by
Loneliness reminds me
Of a love that did die

Betrayal of trust
Crippling my heart
As I found them together
In a lover's embrace

I knew that it was over
Yet I tried to go on
I only remember it now
as the death of our love...

Darkness upholds Light as much as Holiness downs the Evil within...

How painful! You've put in the emotion here, writing it out well.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
