Life passes us by
Each waking moment, each day.
We must sieze the time.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

how very true, sometimes at the end of
the day, I lie in bed and think about
how it's one day closer to the end....kind
of morbid, but it makes me realize,
you do need to seize each moment.

Dragonpoe: Thanx for reading, and im glad you enjoyed my haiku.

Dopey Dope: Thanx for reading, and responding as well. I, myself, should probaly think more of this subject, though.

Zyell: Thanx, as well, for reading and responding. But as for the end of the day, with all that happens in my life now, i usually am just thankful its the end of the day. But ya know, it is kinda sad when to realize that it IS one day closer to the end.

Severn: Man, was it ever tough for me to squeeze that whole, big thought in only three lines(or 12 syllables). But, im glad i did, and im also glad you enjoyed my haiku.

Really?

Well...you see, I just know that haikus can be difficult - and aren't often done well. However, this is actually a senryu - which shares the same format as a haiku - but differs in content as the traditional topic of a haiku is always about some aspect of nature.
