Holding On

Things are so different now,
Holding on to someting broken,
When nothing else mattered he did,
Holding onto what we used to have,
I don't have much left, just him,
Holding onto what i need to get by,
He makes me happier than I ever remember,
Holding onto what makes me smile,
We used to know eachother so well,
Holding onto someone I used to know,
He tries to get away, but he can't,
Holding onto someone pulling away,
I remember the nights we spent together,
Holding onto to fading memories,
No matter how it changes I will be here,
Holding onto a way I want to be,
He means everything so I will hold on,
Holding on even when he lets go

"I'll build a wall if we can keep them on the other side"---NIN
"There is no always forever, just this"-the cure

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..

I was in a relationship a ways back and I could not find happiness...I was thinking the other day that I am so happy when I spend time with a new woman in my life...it has a lot to do with feelings comfortable and accepted by the other...James
