Between a laugh and a tear...

Born to Cry

Born to cry
To live this wasted life
Then to die, never knowing why

To wander alone
Seeking solace and comfort
In the darkness, a chance to atone

To love from afar
Never to taste loves sweet fire
Consumed with pain, heart to know only scars

"The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest"

Wow...I guess you know you've written my story as well...but methinks, in my case, it may be a cry to be born, yes?  Let's hope so.

This one deserves a hug. Thanks.

Great message in so little words. I guess that goes to show that it doesn't take a mountain of words to get one's point accross. Well done EagleOne.

EagleOne,

You have this natural talent for speaking volumes in few words and reading my heart with uncanny precision. Another great one! Thanks for the excellent read..

Oh man!  Have you ever captured my existance.  I've cried many tears in the last year and experienced so much pain.  Great poem!

serenity......A "cry to be born"  yes perhaps that is indeed the way to look at it. Best be careful with the hugs, people may start to talk,   but then they will talk anyway so I might as well accept the hugs, eh!   Thanks, I always appreciate your comments!

G.A.......I think it's just that sometimes I don't have alot to say.   Thanks for the well done!

Sheila......I just write what's in my heart, kind of scary that so many seem to know those feelings so well. Thanks for stopping in to comment.

Tara.......Thankyou just doesn't seem to be enough, but I do thank you.

Kethry.......yes we can, I will continue to write, and heal. Thanks!

Poet deVine..I consider a  "superb" from you to be very special indeed.

KitKat.........I hadn't heard that but it seems appropriate. Thanks!

Angel......Tears and pain are things we all understand here! I hope that yours will ease for you soon, take care!

Ginners....it can be a hollow feeling that we share. Glad you enjoyed!

dragonpoe.....sometimes I feel the pain flows too easily.

Charisma.......You know that you are always welcome, though I think it better to share a smile rather than tears.

Victoria.......Yes that is it! You always seem to know the feeling exactly!

Tiersdin.... A yearning!, yes it is that, thankyou for adding your thoughts.

raleighbttrfly......well I've heard said that life is what we make of it, and I think that, for the most part, I agree. Thanks.
