You sit there and you wonder
you wonder why
why she seems to drift away
You sit there and you have the time
the time to write or call her any time of day
but instead you wonder
You assume that she'll just call you
Cuz thats what she always does
You sit there and you do nothing
You never even try to make her feel appreciated
for all that she does for you
You sit there and you do nothing
you dont even call her
cuz you know she'll always be there
You sit there and you dont even try
try to visit her or tell her that you love her
you know that she'll eventually come to you and
that she'll always love you
You sit there and you complain
about how bored you are
and what not
but did you ever think of doing something for her?
You sit there and you wonder
Wonder why she seems to drift away
Why she hasn't called or why
she hasnt written
You wonder, where she is
and if she's allright
You sit there and you wonder
But the phone lays dead, silent
and your mailbox empty
your notepad blank
You sit there and you wonder
how come all of a sudden
You're all alone.....

All i want in life is to be happy
It seems to me
How messed up things can be
Everytime i get ahead
I fell more dead
