It has filled my ears,
The sound with no reverb.
The thousand words your
Mouth has never enunciated
Ring true and clear,
Showing me I have yet
To be appreciated.
Your silence has betrayed you.
Told me everything I
Tried not to see.
And you are none the wiser,
Hanging on to your love
Like a miser,
Waiting for a better buyer,
Ignoring the fortune
In my heart.
Love is blind,
But rejections burns away
The fog.
Once again,
I trudge on......................

empty, not nearly, my love,
not nearly...."

Oh dear, you too? What is it with us, can't we pick a good one? And how can they do this to us, anyway? So much indifference, you could build a nice big sand castle with it, so they could kick it down and into our eyes..
Sorry, had to let that out..
Good writing, as always. Glad to see you back, though under bad circumstances.

This was great. I hope you do keep that head up high though!

Unfortunately life deals us losing hands sometimes. We take it on the chin, learn from it and hopefully pick out better cards from the deck. And a lot of it depends on luck. wish you the best. ron

Your play on the senses...and the intertwining of them works so well here...

The thousand words your
Mouth has never enunciated
Ring true and clear,
Showing me I have yet
To be appreciated.
Your silence has betrayed you.

Wonderful...

Like a human without illusions...
This is how the wind shifts:
Like a human, heavy and heavy,
Who does not care.
