When you cant fight the demons of your nightmares, Open up the heavy curtains of darkness, And see the happy colours of the night of the nights, Then enter it with dead silent steps , To weave your own dreams, Run your fingers through the golden beauty of the sand, Let the broken pieces of the moon lick away the wetness on your cheeks, See the rays of the sun shyly hiding behind each other, Welcoming you, for you have been their lost lover, for all times, Wear their wonder around yourself , like a magnificent crown, Feel yourself moving with the rhythm of your glory, Those holy hymns that live in you, Will ever so slowly , wrap themselves around the beauty of this world, Hear the trees falling in love with the dew in the air, Breathe in the stars that gently touch the rugged surface of the earth, Healing away your hurt as well, Grab hold of their ethereal brightness, Like a lantern it will help you find your way back! Observe that silver lining that lovingly embraces the clouds, How it is strong enough to simmer down the rage that burn insides you, Let the birds peek through that sweet whiteness of the skies, Just to see their vanity, as they rejoice in their beautiful nakedness, Stretching and wide, Poignantly reach out for the seventh beauty, Its majestic power will make your cry,and engulf you in its warmth Then silently descend down when you finally find peace, And trap those memories, carve out your fate with their truth, Give meanings to them, then maybe fall in love, Until your tiring journey genlty puts you to sleep! |

I, too, have danced with my demons in the moonlight. It seems that the only way to be at peace (and to actually sleep at night) is to do just that. Great piece. |

Great poem.......i don't know about your demons.....but mine like cuban cigars, a bit of jazz, and a great round of poker.  "I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust." I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
