inside a dream of usual tides
comes sacred lectures within this time
relieving a tired soul she asks
am i ready
can i get it done
and if i do
can she pass
if i run through the hearts of the many and find nothing
can i dream
will something as beautiful as breakfast
be lost within egos (?spelling)
can a sun shine always
inside a poet's nightmare
she hurt me bad
can i be, can what i've known see
hurt is, and has been a state of
not my soul, hell no
not my friends, gottit together
i finally know
speculation spills the air
i've never failed to care
where did this start
i'm always the last to know

I don't usually relive the poem with a reply, and I thank the two that have.

I like the title a lot. I think this poem is nicely written and thought up. Good job, hope to see you post more.

Loved the tone and feel of this, like introspective pacing--a sincere ponderance of self and life.  Enjoyed this much.
